I recognize the importance of building a relationship with clients in order to establish realistic, attainable goals and foster hope, healing and resilience.
Adrienne Nash, PMHNP-BC

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner providing psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management. Prior to working in private practice, I worked in home-based mental health services providing therapy and psychopharmacological services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I also coordinated a program assisting in the therapeutic placement of children and adolescents returning to the community from residential programs.

As a former cardiac nurse, I witnessed the intersection of how both physical and emotional health are significant to overall wellness. Following my graduate education, I completed a fellowship training at Yale Child Study Center where I developed an appreciation for researched and evidenced-based approaches to mental healthcare. That understanding continues today as I provide a strength-based, trauma informed and person-centered approach to offer supportive, holistic, and collaborative mental health care to individuals.

Finding a therapist is about the "match" as much as about the skill and experience of the clinician.
