‘I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up as their authentic selves.‘
I am an active therapist and I work collaboratively with clients to make therapy goals, learn and practice new coping skills, and solve problems.
My work focuses on pregnancy, the postpartum period, and also includes support for dads, non-birthing partners, and adoptive parents. I also support individuals navigating major life transitions like young adult transition to independence, job changes/unemployment, moving, divorce/separation. I also have specific expertise in supporting people as they navigate complex relationship stress, parenting challenges, and trauma.
I have extensive experience working with People of Color, first- and second-generation immigrants, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I am deeply committed to integrating social, racial, and economic justice into all aspects of my clinical work.
I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, along with other effective therapeutic strategies to support lasting improvements in mental health. My work is strengths-based and collaborative, with an emphasis on developing tools that clients can apply in their daily lives.
My education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Smith College, a Master’s degree in Social Work from Salem State University, and a Certificate in Infant–Parent Mental Health through the UMass Chan Medical School Fellowship in Early Relational Health.
