‘Growth doesn’t require constant intensity. Therapy can hold space for challenge, celebration, and humor—sometimes all in the same session.’
I am a licensed mental health clinician with more than 15 years of experience and authorized to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders and LGBTQ+ affirming mental health, supporting individuals who are navigating stress, worry, identity-related concerns, and the emotional impact of living in a world that can feel overwhelming or invalidating.
Before opening this practice, I worked in home-based mental health care, working closely with people of all ages in their everyday environments. Those years shaped my grounded, practical approach to therapy and reinforced the importance of meeting people with thoughtfulness and compassion. I was honored to be a 2010 and 2011 Award of Distinction Nominee at South Bay Mental Health Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, recognizing my commitment to client care.
I attended Barnard College, Columbia University in New York City and lived and worked in the city for more than a decade. I hold a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and a graduate-level certificate in Forensic Criminology, which informs my work at the intersection of mental health and the legal system. I am also a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE) and a Certified Child Custody Evaluator (CCCE).
In addition to providing psychotherapy, I conduct gender-affirming mental health evaluations required by insurance. Additionally, I collaborate with attorneys to provide evaluations, release plans, mitigation reports and other related forensic services to justice-involved individuals.
My therapeutic style is person-centered, warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe therapy should not feel heavy, and I value humor, curiosity, and genuine connection as important parts of healing—especially for LGBTQ+ individuals seeking a space to be fully seen and supported.
