‘In our work together, I recognize you as the expert on your own life. I bring clinical knowledge, empathy, and a trauma-informed lens to support a collaborative and safe therapeutic process.’
Reaching out for mental health support can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or weighed down by past experiences. You may be doing your best to manage while wondering if life could feel more balanced, meaningful, or whole. I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering psychotherapy and (at times) psychiatric medication management. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, tailored to your unique needs. I am trained in several evidence-based modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I combine these with concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy, as well as mindfulness-based and somatic approaches. From a place of curiosity and care, I work to help clients foster self-awareness, reduce internal conflict, and access their own inner calm, clarity, and compassion, thus gently transforming patterns that no longer serve them —allowing space to reclaim parts of themselves and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
I began my career as a cardiac nurse, where I saw firsthand how physical and emotional health are interconnected. After graduate school, I completed a fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center, deepening my commitment to research-informed, compassionate care. Before private practice, I provided home-based mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. In recent years, I’ve focused on trauma-informed therapy to support deeper healing.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. I bring experience, empathy, and unconditional support to help us collaboratively find what works best for you.
*I only provide medication management to active clients in my care who are also engaging or have worked with me in therapeutic work or who are in therapeutic treatment with the other clinicians in my practice.
