I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in School Counseling (M.Ed). I worked as a School Adjustment Counselor and Guidance Counselor before finding my passion in working directly with families and couples. For the last 5 years I have focused on providing support and guidance to families as a family therapist and supporting couples in communication skills and relationship building. I have several specializations that may help me to work with your family or in your partnership. My work at an adult day program provided me with expertise in substance misuse, trauma, displacement, suicidal ideation and self-harm.
I am an advocate for self-care and boundary setting and believe that healing can come through connection with our passions. I find my own passion and grounding through camping, kayaking and hiking.
I do not currently contract with insurance but can provide information on private pay and sliding scale options.
