I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has worked in a variety of settings including residential treatment, outpatient clinics, and correctional settings. I have 5+ years of experience working with individuals of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, symptoms of trauma, suicidal ideation, self-injury, and ADHD. Outside of evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, SFT, and MI), I provide a person-centered and trauma-informed approach tailored to each individual client, using a down to earth and warm style while incorporating humor. When I am not in the office, I am likely watering my plants or finding fun recipes to try.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lehigh University with Minors in Health & Medicine and Global Studies and a Master’s of Science degree from Northeastern University in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. I have training in suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and problematic sexual behavior in children and youth.
While I have experience working with a wide range of therapeutic concerns, I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced adverse life experiences that impact their current level of functioning. Most importantly, I find that focusing on creating a safe and unbiased therapeutic space for people to feel heard is tremendously healing. My goal is to help clients process challenging thoughts, behavioral patterns, and emotions to cultivate self-awareness through support and reflection. I believe in building a collaborative therapeutic alliance to effectively guide clients in exploring authenticity within themselves. My role is to walk with you on your journey.
