What Is Strength-Based Therapy?

Strength-based Therapy does two things; it builds upon your existing strengths (things you already know you are good at) and assists in discovering new strengths (things you didn’t know you were capable of). Using our strengths in daily life helps us transform into confident, motivated individuals. Everyone possesses a uniqueness that helps them evolve and move along their journey. Each of us has those times that are really hard. When we are in crisis mode the last thing we may want to think about are our strengths. However, when these trying situations arise, we need help in identifying our strengths.
