About Us

Our Approach

We use strength-based and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques which are trauma-informed and neurologically-informed.

Strength-based Therapy does two things; it builds upon your existing strengths (things you already know you are good at) and assists in discovering new strengths (things you didn’t know you were capable of). Using our strengths in daily life helps us transform into confident, motivated individuals. CBT is an evidence-based psychotherapy technique of re-training the way you think about yourself and the world around you. Trauma-Informed care emphasizes safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness and empowerment. Neurologically-psychotherapy uses a holistic model to understand the brain’s system of emotional regulation with biological, psychological and social influences. Using these techniques, we feel confident you will find our office to be a safe and confidential place to create change in your life.
